NP: Nothing, as the TV is on
Ok, Im watching the new American Dad show. Its created and written by the Family Guy crew....and it sucks. Its like a cheap rip-off of the Family Guy. YOu have the dumb dad, a talking dog..er....fish, a son who is not really smart, a daughter who is somewhat smart, and a talking baby....er....alien. Its kinda funny...but its not totally hilarious like the fantasy guy. They have more political humor (the dad works for the CIA, the daughter is a liberal), but overall....its nowhere near as funny. Why did they do this instead of making new Family Guys?

American Dad

I saw a commercial where they are staring a new seaon of "Family Guy" in May. So I assume they will be new episodes.
They started working on "American Dad" after Fox dropped "Family Guy" and I really don't know what the fuckin' point was. Dad is transparently Guy with a few different variables and I don't even see the show lasting past the relaunch of Guy. Someone said it was supposed to be McFarlane's "Futurama," but it's just a placeholder and I'd say that the only reason they gave Dad the final green light is because Guy did so well on DVD.
