Now I’m back, ya’ll.
1) I’m going to spit out the last three horror films of the Halloween this weekend. I have a little thing on Amazon that I’ll post up at the end of the project, which is more or less just some Listmania. Buy some of those; it actually inspired me to look into hooking up an Amazon affiliate section.
In add’n to finishing up the film thing – because I hate an unfinished project (as opposed to an uncompleted project, which is truly different) – I have one last poll setup to run for a six day run, with an epilogue. So look for Halloween to end soon. Hate that shit got hectic right around the time that I love so much.
2) Jake Palumbo: Will definitely review the album, track by track. I’m stoked to hear it in its duration, and spend money to support SpaceLAB. Listened to the interview, and you came across really well; the interviewers were cool (even though they started dicking off in the beginning). Plus any – ANY – opportunity to hear “Burt Reynolds,” I’ll take that … I bump that shit at work a lot (now, I do get some people who ask me if that’s “the music from that pizza commercial” so I then can tell ‘em to shut the fuck up). Now, give us our WCW Jobbers love, stat!
One question: Is it possible to hook me up with some a capella lyrics, ‘cause I’d like to try my hand at maybe remixing (badly) some stuff for a future SGM project? If not, that’s cool. I’ve been fucking around with that Audacity mixtape software, and thought I’d like to try my hand at remixing a little.
3) SGM business: I mentioned the Amazon affiliate thing; might look more into that.
What’s the interest in having a symposium in 2008? Just the five of us, with assorted significant others (if applicable), meeting, eating lunch or dinner, crashing a SSW show or maybe if Jake can hook up a show in Johnson City …? But I’m serious; I did used to enjoy going to the Southernfried Summits sometimes, and I can bring Will, no questions. We’d be repping, what, 5 states*? Plus, it’d be cool, rolling five deep into the Golden Corral or some China Garden shit, like kingpins. Hit me up and let me know, ya’ll.
*Nope, 4 – SC, TN, FL, and NY
Also, SGM Media Enterprises might do video in the next year, and first project on the tentative list is the Science Gone Mad Big Ten Wrestling Match Extravaganza Bonanza (name subject to change). This will be where I burn off a DVD with ten random wrestling matches – any ol’ shit I got laying around the house; ROH, WWF, WCW, ECW, PWF, Lucha, Puro, AWA, NWA, TNA, IWA-MS, etc. – post up some in-depth reviews, and mail ‘em out Columbia House club-style. Lemme see what kinda progress I can make on that end though, else this turns into the Southernfried Short Attention Span Theater all over again.
The Sin Mixtape – my contribution to the Dumpin Fall Classic mixtape challenge – was sent in some time last week, so it should be going up soon.
Like I said, I'm back. Last week felt like a year. I'm still physically ill, but not as mentally ill as I was when I left.

Glad to have ya back.
1) Good to have you back.
2) I'm down for a SGM Meeting, I didn't get home much this year, only once in June and I'm having difficulty finding a flight home for X-mas for under $500 at the moment, but whenever I get down south, I'm down to invade Golden Corral (damn, I miss Golden Corral) I'll keep yall posted.
3)If you wanna review the album, you can get it here:

This link will be dead in a day or two. All SGM Contributors have "media privledge" so Ron, Will, if you wanna peep it, go ahead.
4) I'm gonna do an acapella mix of the album to have for my own use, in case I wanna sample a vocal, so I don't have to back-log through old session files to find what I'm needing. I'll pass them on once I've got them, remix away.
Appreciate the files Jake. If you are looking for more media exposure, there are worse places to look than the Swank Manifesto on 100.5 the Buzz, Gainesville's Rock Alternative.
My holidays are tricky this year (moving offices into a new building the week after Final exams/week before Christmas). I'm home Tksgvng and I should be home for part of the pre-Christmas time before I drive to Paducah with the significant other to see her family.
