I particularly love the minimization of what the true definition of contribution is, the apparent misunderstanding of what a resurgence is, the glaring disorientation of time frames, and the utter ignorance of what exactly it was that created friction in the first place.
Long after everything was safe & secure and the multiple ad nauseum crises had passed in your world, I was busy mourning my grandmother & carrying my friend's casket toward its earth, among a few other things, while you couldn't tell the difference between one "will" and another. Most insulting was when you'd try to minimize what I was going through, to then maximize your stress as being somehow greater than mine, then when I'd get pissed, turn around and seem to be oblivious to what I was pissed at in the first place. If I'd heard/ read "Why the hate?" one more fucking time, after explaining "why" for the hundredth time, I'd have probably guerilla-pimp slapped your ass, even from two states down. But you're right, "it was all about Southernfried."
You know, fuck them, and fuck "you," you know who you are. Give it another month, and it'll probably be cricket chirps and local wrestling show ads all over again. This weekend, I'm removing the link to that shitty little self-fellating forum, because I'll be damned if we steer any more traffic your way. So go ahead, have your little "gastric athlete" fuckfest and get heart disease, you bitches.
Pity pity me, you redheaded two-faced gladhanding fuckneck. And that's my final rant on TOS.
To be honest, Brent, I have no beef with you. You and Ron have been sniping at each other for so long I couldn't possibly say what caused it and apparently you and Nate had some private beefs that led us here. But your post on SF offered what, if I recall correctly, is your third separate "explanation" for why SGM broke away from SF and none of those explanations have actually covered what happened. And there are some questionable statements in there aside from that.
In December 2004 Nate hatched the idea of SGM as a side project for SF where we would have a more refined format to work in. The general attitude at SF had long been one of apathy and discontent; the open format of the board led to more drama than creativity. Great ideas languished while arguments involving local backyard wrestlers were a regular occurrence. If you'll recall, both yourself and Lawson were included in the original SGM roster. Lawson's first post was an inexplicable questioning of the need for a blog to supplement SF and a statement of his disinterest in participating. Nate and Ron decided to remove him as a contributor. Your contributions were limited to occasional off-topic ramblings in the comments and you were eventually removed as well.
In October 2006 you accused us of deleting posts and changing the admin password for SF. I can't speak to deleted posts, but the password was still the same as it had been as late as the night before you locked us out of SF and made the accusation. You then denied Nate any credit for the work he did on the board. At that point we walked away and we did it quietly. Yes, we inflamed the situation this summer with the background incident and there's no excuse for that.
Your well-known habit of not finishing projects had nothing to do with any enmity anyone has towards you. It's a running joke, sure. Short Attention Span Theatre has been in the works for as long as I've known you and it seemed like every other month you'd pop onto the board and announce some grand project (Southernfried Conspiracy Month comes to mind) and that would be the last anyone would hear of it. But you're carrying your problems like a goddamned cross. Nate works 60 hours a week as a prison psychologist and is married. Mike earned a doctorate and is now working as a professor. I'm lazy as fuck, but I had a full nervous breakdown in 2005 and went as deep into depression as you can get for two shitty, shitty months. Shit happens, things come up and priorities change. We know this, but we don't turn it into a circus.
And there was one nWo summit, which was a last-minute, spur-of-the-moment deal that, to be fair, Ron mentioned just to needle you with it. And to be fair and honest, your comment in the thread at Raven's forum about removing vocal tracks kind of established you as a dick trying to piss on Nate and it set a bad tone for your comments in the mixtape thread. Nate and Ron didn't even know it was you until I mentioned it after the fact.
This is what it breaks down to: we're all grown-ups even if we don't always act like it, but the golden days are over and we're headed in different directions. We need to move on and unless Nate has any final words he wants to add, let this be the final go 'round between SF and SGM.
Fellas, I have no beef with any of you. Period. To say that Mike can bust my balls about something but I can't mess with Nate's about a mix-tape challenge-isn't that kinda, silly?
I exercised my right as a voter and voted for Nate's mixtape. And hell, to be honest I sent at least half a dozen e-mails to SF readers to download Nate's mix( along with the other contestants-to try to make the shit fair, but in reality I think they dug Nate;s mix moreso)) but my point was to push Nate into the finals.
Hate me if ya will.
That's a strong word, something I'll never feel for you guys. Remember we go way abck. And I consdider you guys some of the most intellectual friends I know.
Nate, we should talk. Not about coming to SF. Cuase you've got SGM kickin, and it's something I dig. We were way to close for some bullshit, internet junk to tear things up.
I've loved SGM from day one.
It's late guys, I gotta to hit the sack, I might not be married but I've got a little girl to take care of. Cartoons air early for an old man like me.
Much love fellas, Hate me or not, I'd still like to think we'll break bread together again someday.

Damn.
I posted this thread before Bjork added his comments. I think Nate said everything that needed to be said.
