I just wanted to add this somewhere in here...
Fantasy Book Redux:
Batista vs. Abyss
I was watching one of those Monster's Ball matches that Abyss usually finds himself in, and he does this goofy-ass running avalanche to an opponent in the corner, and he gets this running start that is goofy as hell but fun to watch. Goddamn, I love that bastardized Kane ripoff. Love him to death ... give him the title already.
When you write the haikus, do they come naturally or do you have to count the syllables up and edit out what won't work?
Well, I have an idea of what I want to cover, and for the most part it works. The most I've ever been off is about 2 syllables.
On this Abyss theme, the one I'm most proud of was the No Surrender review. Plus, that match was all good and ECWesque, and Libby was all, "Oh my gosh!" "That's gross!" "Did he really staple that guy's head?" Then, every few minutes, she'd ask, "Is the dollar still on his head?" That gave it extra mileage.
Jesus H Christ, that post deserves some kind of award.
