Fuck, shit, piss, cunt, cocksucker, motherfucker, tits: farewell, Mr. Carlin
George Carlin passed away Sunday of heart failure at age 71.
Carlin was a hero and an inspiration to me in shaping my worldview both in my formative adolescent years and continuing into adulthood. His ability to cut through the bullshit while making you laugh until your throat hurt was unparalleled. Taken as a whole, his work is the finest American philosophy and the pinnacle of stand-up comedy. Fuck anyone who says different.

Peter Boyle Dead at 71
I have a lot of respect for Peter Boyle. The man, in my opinion, made "Everybody Loves Raymond". Who can forget his betrayal as the monster in "Young Frnakenstein". He will be missed.

Celebrity birthday-Aug. 17
Well for today I could not narrow it down so we have two. Sean Penn and Robert DeNiro. I love Deniro in "Cape Fear" and Sean Penn was great in "Mystic River". I love that both these actors ahve been around for a while and can do both comedy and drama. Who is your favorite of the two? Why?

Ben Affleck. I mentioned his brother, Casey, earlier so I figured I would go with him. I am not a fan of his by any means but I will have to go with "Good Will Hunting"

Alfred Hitchcock. Good Evening!!!!!!!!!!! I love Hitchcock. I am sure James Stewart loved the man as well. My favorite Hitchcock movie would be "Rear Window", but take into consideration that I have not seen all his films. I loved his show as well and I believe they are available on DVD.
I know some of you are Hitchcock experts so I am asking that you rank the movies you have seen by him from favorite to least favorite.

Casey Affleck. Ben's brother. He was in "Good Will Hunting" and "Chasing Amy" with his brother. I have never been a fan of Ben's but I see Casey as having potential for some reason.
What are your thoughts on Casey? Any other celebrity siblings you want to discuss?

Amanda Bearse. you are probably asking who the hell is that. Well, she played Marcy on "Married with Children" and she was in "Fright Night". I believe she has been out of the closet for some time and does not act anymore.

Celebrity Birthday-Aug. 8
Dustin Hoffman-- I thought he did a really great job in "Rain Man". He is one of those actors who has been in so many movies it is hard to really pick which one is his best. What are your thoughts?

Charlize Theron. I can say that I am not a huge fan of her work. I will say she did a great job in "Monster" but I enjoy seeing her when they do not make her ugly as sh*t. I think she is very pretty and i like that she gose topless in some of her movies. I mean what can I say? I am a guy.
Any discussions on this actress

Celebrity birthday--Aug.6
Soliel Moon Frye. I admit I watched "Punky Brewster" when I was younger and I never dreamed she would grow up to be a hottie. I mean Punky has some mighty fine Brewsters if you know what I mean. To further my status as a dork, I remember when she was on an episode of "Saved by the Bell" and acted like she was in love with Screech because she wanted his secret spaghetti sauce recipe, which turned out to be a recipe from Ragu or something like that.
What are your thoughts on this actress? Her brother was in that cool show called "Explorers, I think where he and his friend or brother -don't remember-would go back in time and stuff.

Celebrity birthday-Aug. 5
Loni Anderson--believe it or not turned 6o today. Anyway, I remember watching "WKRP in Cincinatti" and being all about some Loni Anderson. I felt like Herb Tarlick trying to get a piece of the action. I can honestly say that I do not know much else about her as far as tv or movies go. I know she was in a show called, "Easy Streets" where she lived with her old uncle and his friend or something like that.
What are your thoughts?

Billy Bob Thornton. I enjoyed "Sling Blade" a great bit, but I cannot say I really watched any of his other movies. I mean he will be remembered more for his love affair or marriage or whatver to Angelina Jolie.
What were some of his other good movies, if any?
