Since there are only four of us posting on this site, do we want to have a small "Year End Awards" thread? Maybe we submit categories by Sunday and vote/post/nominate by Christmas day?

Here is a question

I'm down.
Sound good to me.
Ok. What categories would we use? I'll compile these from this thread, then delete it and repost the questions in another post.
I would include some traditional favorites, including: "Most Overplayed Song of 2006," "The Real Man's Man for 2006," "Most Overexposed Celebrity of 2006," "Team of the Year," "News Event of the Year," "Mass Media Item of the Year."
Internet disappointment of the year.
Best trend of 2006.
Wrestler of the year.
Horrifying tragedy of the year.
Celebrity you'd most like to punch in the face 2006.
TV of the year.
DBD release of the year.
(We don't have to use all of these, they're just some ideas.)
Can I submit "Embarq DSL" as nominee for Internet disappointment of the year now, or should I wait?
Could we extend the deadline. I will be out of town until Tuesday evening.
I was thinking along the lines of extending the category process until Christmas day, the nomination process until the first week of January and then voting/posting recipients in the second week of January.
All right. Josh's timeline works for me.
I'm down with extending the deadline. I also submit "Movie of the Year," or alternately, "Shitty Remake of the year."
Oh oh, and "Match of the year."
