I see we have moved and we have all our boxes unpacked and are ready to enjoy our new blogger home. It took me a while to find how to do it but I am here.
Wrestling--I am enjoying although I wish we had more than DX against Edge and Orton going on. I mean Umaga and John Cena--I really do not care about that one. Hardy Boys back together again is cool, but it is still the been there done that feel like DX. We need something new in wrestling.
TNA-- I have watched a few shows as of late and I am starting to become a fan even though it is hard to get into it. Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe is a great match, at least I guess it was I did not actually see it but I would think it would be. They did bring back Tyson Tomko to be with Christian which is okay but Tomko really has no talent in the ring. He reminds me a lot of Bull Buchanan. Anyway, you cannot help but like Sting being back in the ring.
Video Games--I bought the Smackdown vs. Raw 2007 and I like it but I am not a big fan of the new grappling system using the anolog sticks. I also purchased Evil Dead regeneration from Circuit City for like $7 and it is a really fun game. I am a little bummed that the PS 3 is out because games for PS 2 will become obsolete. I mean who has $500-$600 for a PS3? Oh well, what can I do?
Movies-- I want to see Rocky 6. Don't laugh, you do too. I mean I have always been a fan of those movies. I enjoyed the Prestige even though it was really long it was a good movie. I am ready for Spiderman 3 next year, and Sin City 2. OF course, I am ready for Tarintino' s Grindhouse and Planet Terror. Good stuff.
DVDS- I just got Back to Future trilogy--good, fun stuff. I am hoping for a new edition of Kill Bill combining both movies--any word on if that is coming out?
TV- Heroes is a good show, Of course Lost but it is on hiatus until February. Masters of Horror on Showtime is good.
Comics- I have all issues of the new Justice League of America. I want to get all issues of 52, even though I am way behind.
Magazine subscriptions- Wizard (great magazine), Entertainment Weekly, and Popular Mechanics . I love magazines. Oh yeah PSM, which I will not renew since I have no PS3. What magazines do you like?
I will try to post and respond more regularly. Good job Nate on what you have done with the blog.

I'm secretly hoping that they bring Monty Brown in before the new year. It'd be sweet if he was the one who ended Umaga's winning streak. Of course, I'd also like him to have a finisher better than the POOOOOUUUUUNNNNNCCCCEEE! He has used one called the Alpha Bomb, which is a powerbomb to the opponent from a fallaway slam position ... looks very cool.
TNA unfortunately is turning into WWF lite here recently. Which I hate, 'cause now newer viewers are stuck watching shit that don't make sense ... I was actually pretty disappointed with the last PPV as a whole, even though there were some very good matches. But hopefully, they'll just fire Russo again and it'll be back on track.
Definitely start seeking out cheap ass video games, 'cause I've greatly increased my game reserve substantially for practically pennies. "Killer 7," "Black," "Mark of Kri," Fight Night Round 2" ... all games that are at least $20 or less, all games highly rated by most game sources. In fact, I'm waiting on "Metal Slug Anthology" to arrive and "God of War 2" to be released, and I honestly think that I have all the PS2 games I'll ever want.
And we just cannot talk DVDs right now. My head will really a'splode.
Good to have you back at HQ. Happy anniversary to ya'll, by the way. Her birthday's coming up soon, right?!
Here's a suggestion related to the next-generation consoles: DO NOT PLAY A GAME ON A RELATIVE OR FRIEND'S PS3 OR X360 AND THEN BUY THE GAME FOR YOUR PS2 OR XBOX. It is a shitty experience. My bro-in-law has a 360 and I played Need for Speed: Carbon on it. It's a fun racer, especially if you enjoyed Most Wanted or Underground, which I did. So after playing it on his 360, I bought it for my XBOX. Holy shit, talk about letdown. The graphics are fine, because the XBOX was incredibly strong in that department to begin with. There are some minor differences in presentation, which is reasonable given the processing power of the 360. But the races, which on the 360 include as many as 32 drivers, are limited to 4 drivers on the XBOX version. And because you have a teammate in the races, only 2 of the drivers on the XBOX version are actually opponents. Other games apparently have the same issue.
And how can there be a Rocky 6 if they didn't make Rocky 5?
There was a Rocky 5, but I cannot blame you for blocking it from your memory. Rocky fights Tommy Gunn in the streets. Yeah, not very memorable I know.
As far as the game console discussion. I know that Marvel Ultimate Alliance and Justice League Heroes have different unlockable players on the different consoles. I mean that sucks. If for example you liked Green Lantern (which he is on all of them) but say he was limited to the 360. You would have to have a 360 to play as him.
Yeah, I don't much care for unlockable content varying by system, with the exception using characters owned by the respective system manufacturer (i.e. Zelda in one of the Soul Caliber games and Mario in NBA Street 3 on the Cube). Obviously system limitations become an issue between XBOX and PS2 vs. 360 and PS3, but beyond that, it's just lame.
