I assumed Heenan would be fairly emaciated by this point due to the throat cancer and his age, which is terrible. Although I didn't watch a lot of WWF programming in the 80s, I knew who he was. Most of my exposure to him was as a commentator through watching old WWF PPV tapes and then his stint in WCW, where he earned a lot of respect from me for refusing to join in Bischoff and Schiavone's on-air WWF-shitting.
I still don't understand why they're not using Frank Miller as the writer if they're doing a movie based on his Year One material. Same for not using Garth Ennis to do the Punisher movie, even though it was based on Welcome Back, Frank.
