On that hypothesis that commercials are now geared toward getting people to NOT buy product ...
Am I the only one that thinks these commercials make it look like people are being fed hot dogs by their dongs?
And I for one am boycotting any product that even mildly suggests that my dong will crave said product so much that it (vis a vis, my dong) will force-feed it (vis a vis, said product) to me.

Ballpark Franks

Please elaborate, as I have not seen said commercial.
Ballpark Franks have these series of commercials out where these young men (always men, never women, so far) have these arms that grow from the center of their stomachs and attempt to feed their person a Ballpark Frank.
The first and most hideous is one where a guy's typing on his laptop, but the arm keeps trying to make him quit so that the arm can feed the guy a hot dog. Well, a fight ensues, the young man vs. this arm growing from the center of his abdomen, when the arm drops a bowling ball on the young man's foot, the man bends down in agony, and the arm takes the opportunity to grab the hot dog and shove it in the kid's mouth, to which the kid responds with much delight.
It doesn't take a Psych 101 genius to recognize all the things that are wrong with this setup.
That has to be the most disturbing idea for a commercial I have ever heard. Its like they hired the boys from Tromaville to make their ads or something.
I was trying to recall a commercial where it looked like something resembling a dong was feeding somebody a hot dog. So I found Ballpark's own YouTube page and realized what you were talking about. I had seen the video game commercial before (they're playing a video game when the hand comes out) and it's an odd campaign, but I didn't equate with abdominal hand with penis, so maybe you're spending too much time with the crazies. The most disturbing part of the commercial that you described is the kid licking his lips after he takes a bite of the hot dog. I like hot dogs myself, but not that much.
