It's on!
All platforms eligible. Online, only select games are applicable, but in-store, any game is eligible, with the lowest price selection the free one (of course).
The only games I can think of that I want are Splinter Cell: Double Agent, Destroy All Humans 2, and two games that aren't out yet (Fire Pro Wrestling Returns & Manhunt 2).

FIFA 08 -- release date October 9, 2007.
Too bad the sale will be off by then. This is not a Bjork Threadkill, I swear.
The FIFA designers are upping the bar this year with the new "Be a Pro" mode where you pick one player and only use him during the games. I sure hope that this isn't just for outfield players and you can pick the goalie. I'm actually really fired up about this.
If I had a PS3 or an XBox360 I could take advantage of a new shooting engine (shooting is the worst part of FIFA 07), but sadly the PS2 version is saddled with the old system.
They also have a new feature that allows you to create your own formations and tactics. I sure hope that this is as open-ended as it sounds. I could do a lot with West Ham if I could move Matty Etherington up on the wing but leave Freddie Ljunberg back on the other side of the field. That formation = gold.
