In an article about the film "Where In The World Is Osama Bin Laden?" ...

Well, I just shit my pants. Then I read the whole article and shit your pants. TERRIFYING!
It seems like it may be an interesting read and anyone who eats McDonald's every day for a month just to see how it turns out deserves my money.
I loathe Morgan Spurlock. His smugness was evident in his tv show on FX. He acts as if he is some great crusader and the only one smart enough to see these evils he finds while, in reality, he is a two-bit hack.
If he wanted to go beyond his lifetime we could talk about how Americans were scared to death of communist spies, labor unions, anarchists, Barbary pirates, Mexican bandits, Native Americans, a salt shortage, the Panic of 1873, the railroad bust, the Great Depression, Japanese subversion on the West Coast, World Wars I and II, the Spanish-American War, the Civil War, slavery, the abolition of slavery, the apocalypse (10-15 times over), alcohol, immigrants, immigration, mass culture, racial suicide, eugenics, and so on.
Yet Morgan Spurlock thinks that some how is the one man who has discovered the fact that fear based on a grain of truth can be used to manipulate the masses. Been happening since the Roman Empire and will continue happening long after we are stardust.
Morgan Spurlock wasn't even on my hate radar until his ubiquitous TV show ads started popping up on FX during every commercial break for "The Shield." Having just worked for the prison at the time the "30 Days" episode for him spending time in prison, I checked that out, and I have to agree: That was exactly like prison life, if you are a guy who knows for certain he's getting out in only 30 days, and you're being followed around by a camera crew, and you know for certain that the officers will be on their best behavior, and you don't have to worry about having your anal virginity being traded around like it were a baseball card. Yep - EXACTLY like prison.
As for the quote, it amused me at work. That quote's the only thing Morgan Spurlock has produced that has remotely interested me.
