I was reading some recaps of this week's Raw, and in every one I read, I came across the phrase, "Rick Rolled." So, I looked it up ... and now I wish I didn't.
What the fuck is funny about that shit? You give a person a link to something, they click it, only instead of the link going to what you said it was, it instead goes to the video for Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up?" And again, what the fuck is funny about that shit?
Apparently, Vince was calling one of the fake people for this money contest WWE is running, and the guy had the song in question as his dialtone. And everyone that has written a recap online in the IWC thinks this shit is the funniest thing.
Yeah ... the fuckin' Rick Roll. And here I thought I had a pretty good sense of humor, and yet I find none in the Rick Roll. Now, if you put up a link to something, only it leads to the "2 Girls, 1 Cup" video ... well, yeah, that's just as funny. "Rick rolling," "shit rolling" ... I suppose this is a sign of society starting to pass me by.

Do you find this funny?

I don't find that funny because there's no real point to it aside from shitting on the day of someone who, by way of working the drive-thru at a fast food restaurant, is already having their day shit upon by the normal course of existence. Now, if you had a legitimate reason to do something malicious to someone who just happens to be working the drive-thru window, then that's a fine way of doing it. But randomly? Why not stop to piss on a homeless person afterward then head to the nearest convent to cunt punch a nun for the trifecta of worthlessness.
I'm shocked to find that someone who ostensibly uses the Internet frequently was completely unaware of the Rickroll. It's a fairly dated Internet meme that was somewhat amusing at first, but has now been beaten to death by people who do things like use the song as their ringtone or answertone. I can see how discovering the Rickroll in this context completely voids any humor it may have.
That makes me angry just watching it. If someone threw a drink in my face, I'd slit their throat. What makes it worse is that he drives away like a beeotch after he throws the drink. It would have been funnier if he had thrown the drink and then just sat there like nothing happened.
