A great movie! Worth your time and money!
First of all, I know I have not been on here in a while and I do apologize. Okay, down to business. The Dark Knight (TDK) was an excellent movie. If you liked Batman Begins you will love this. I was impressed with all the acting really and must say it is true--Heath Ledger's performance will blow you away. I am a huge Batman fan but any movie lover would enjoy this movie. So, if you hav enot yet, go check it out!

I 100% wholeheartedly agree.
I think it was Tobe Hooper, director of the original "Texas Chainsaw Massacre," that said that true horror will often come out of nowhere, when you least expect it, and sometimes even after a moment of humor.
That applies to this film. There were moments that, just when you thought there was cause for relief, suddenly there was panic.
Ledger's philosophizing, manic, quirky take on the Joker far surpasses at the least any other portrayal of the character previously, and damn near ranks up there with the villainous roles of Hannibal Lecter, Darth Vader, and Freddy Kruger up to Nightmare part 3. There were moments when the audience we were sitting with were chuckling, cheering, and lauding the Joker's actions, all the while it was dawning on me that here the Joker was taking on an act of terrorism or sadism and reveling in it.
No room for sympathy in this character, at all. And I dare say that this film could very well be the best superhero film ever. And I appreciate the invite, Will.
