WWF Legends figures 2-pack

Saw this set - along with Harvey Whippleman & Giant Gonzalez - on my last trip to the Anderson Toys R Us. Not shown: Kaufman's neckbrace accessory.

While the Lawler/Kaufman set is super-dope, I really think calling Giant Gonzalez and Harvey Wippleman "legends" is an insult to the consumer.

I am inclined to agree with you there. I see their inclusion as a signal of the decline of the "Legends" line.

Although granted, we've already seen figures based on the Repo Man, Akeem the African Dream, Papa Shango, the Brooklyn Brawler (certainly a "legend" if ever there was one), and muthafuckin' Zeus ... there was bound to be further downslide.

Up next for the WWF Classic Superstars line:
- Outback Jack
- Who?
- Iraqi sympathizer Sgt. Slaughter
- New Jack
- drunk Hawk
- Randy Savage
- P.N. News

(All of the above is bullshit, although don't be surprised if some of that comes true.)

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, Who.

I wonder if that was part of Jim Neidhardt's community service or something...

Kudos on that one, I really laughed out loud there.

I also propose:

Xanta Klaus
T.L. Hopper
Alex "The Pug" Porteau
and
Jacob & Eli Blu

I'd pay money for a T.L. Hopper figure.

Actually, no I wouldn't. I wouldn't even pay money for the Flair/Heenan/Perfect 3-pack, but that's because I swore off purchases of that nature. It was a nice 3-pack, though.

I think I would have gotten the Freebirds set, if the figures were adorned with their rebel flag facepaint. Alas, no on both counts.
