I do a lot of cooking and was just curious.
I want to know what is your favorite thing to cook. In this day and age, of everything being so expensive, I am more prone ot eat at home than go out. What do you cook?? I need ideas.

I fix pasta dishes a lot, my favorite of which is chicken parmesan. Also, I fix a spinach stew that is pretty good for chilly weather.
Lately, being on my own, I've been trying to make big dishes, things that will keep for a few days so that I can make work lunches or dinners out of them, so baked ziti and the aforementioned spinach stew work, and I make a pretty good taco casserole.
Spinach stew? Put that recipe up.
I'm a big fan of the pastas myself; I'm damn good with tomato sauces (and from scratch, not out of a jar). I can rock any pasta with a red sauce; manicotti is a favorite but damn if stuffing shells ain't a bitch. Unfortunately my alfredo sauce needs work because it doesn't hold up to reheating.
I make an awesome feta-tomato bisque, and my chili will fuck your shit up but you will gladly continue to eat it. I actually made one that got exponentially hotter the longer it sat in the fridge as leftovers and had to throw a quarter of it out because it became entirely too hot to eat. Sometimes I tone it down for the stomach-impared.
I can get a steak right in terms of cooking but my marinades tend to be hit or miss. My stuffed mushrooms are hit or miss as well, but they're usually close enough.
If the white cheese melts up right, which is entirely too tricky and apparently an instinctual thing among the Mexicans, I make a sick sauce for Pollo Loco with sauteed mushrooms, onions, and chorizo. It also works as an awesome dip.
I can't say as I do much of the cooking, but here recently my favorites have been turkey burgers, turkey tacos, or grilled chicken and rice. The best quick meal (which I can actually pull off) is chicken strip salad...pre-made salad mix from Publix and chicken strips from the Publix deli.
