One of my favorite Van Halen tracks, and highly underrated in my book. It's an easy track to overlook, with all those charting singles - "Jump," "Panama," "Hot For Teacher," and "I'll Wait."

I'm not a Van Halen fan, but David Lee Roth's random comments at the first of "Hot For Teacher" are so fuckin' awesome. "I don't feel tardy." That gets me every time.
With all respect due to the Red Rocker (hate on Sammy Hagar, but his life is infinitley better than yours), for my $$$$ the David Lee Roth era is quintessential Van Halen.
I hope to model my ascent (and decline) partially after the Roth. I've already been arrested in Washington Square Park for a $20 bag of endo (2004), so next step is to add more jump-kicks to my live show, and begin wearing clothing with fringes.
I agree. DLR is definitely the better of the two leads. I do like some of their songs under Hagar. "Finish What You Started" is simple, but I like it.
