Why?

I don't understand this.

I can't understand why the man would call the police over this matter. If I was a cop and someone called me to tell me that their avatar had been murdered, I would probably hang up on them.

I read it too fast at first, because I thought it was a "real world" husband and wife, then I realized that they were only married in the "virtual world."

This is really funny. I can't actually imagine any legal action being taken over something like this. I have actually worked several jobs where people are being harassed over Myspace or Facebook and I always just tell them that their problem doesn't fall under the NYPD's jurisdiction and that they need to get in touch with Tom about that.
