Never read the comic, but I kinda dug the character.
Little known fact: Alan Moore wanted to use the old Charleston comic book characters (which included The Question, Blue Beetle, Captain Atom), but couldn't get the rights, so he "adapted" them. So, "The Question" = "Rorschach."
They completely screwed the character up in that 52 nonsense after whatever the latest Crisis the DC Universe went through. The female detective from the Batman books is now the Question, and the original one died of cancer.
Wasn't it that he got cancer from that gas that he always used to change his disguises?
Or am I thinking of Mysterio from the Kevin Smith reboot of "Daredevil?"
I think it might have been both characters.
I know make it a point to go to a bookstore once a week and read a whole trade paperback graphic novel. That is the only way I can keep up with comics anymore, even though that puts me horribly behind.
