Absolute Bollocks

This list is wrong on so any levels.

Number one is utter gash. No mention of DX, Demolition, the Bushwhackers, the Honky Tonk Man, or any of the good ECW themes.

That's pretty clearly written by a very, very casual wrestling fan. "Pomp and Circumstance" is terrible entrance music; Hogan's theme is iconic because it's Hogan's theme but it's an awful song whereas Flair and Austin's music is better. I can think of a number of 80's-era WWF themes better than Hogan and Savage's: Ted DiBiase, Ultimate Warrior, Bret Hart, Honky Tonk Man, Mr. Perfect, Demolition, and Slick's Jive Soul Bro. From the 90's you've got Shawn Michaels' theme, Razor Ramon's theme, the Rock's theme, and Cactus Jack's music.

Far be it from me to put "Motorhead" and "sucks" in the same sentence, but Motorhead's "Time to Play the Game" sucks. Fuck HHH too. Billy Gunn's music isn't even funny as an ironic choice. I never though much of it, but D-X's music is a better choice than either of those.

I can see leaving out popular music used as themes which eliminates NWA-era Road Warriors and all of ECW, but the bWo's theme song was fucking badass. So was the nWo's, for that matter.

My list would be:
Flair
Austin
Undertaker (1996-ish)
Bret Hart
Razor Ramon
bWo
Ted DiBiase

I was looking up themes on YouTube to refresh my memory and found a scientific wrestling classic:

If you love clotheslines, shoulderblocks, bodyslams, more clotheslines, punches, and clotheslines, this is for you: the Ultimate Warrior and the Road Warriors versus Demolition on Saturday Night's Main Event.

I was done with that list at #6: Billy Gunn.

As for guilty pleasures, I admit to a soft spot in my heart for Big Show's theme. "There's a big bad show tonii-ight, dog ..." Maybe it's the bluesy feel.

WCW usually had the ass end of themes, because those shits were the worst themes I've ever heard. But, two themes crawl out of the muck for me (the two nWo themes notwithstanding): Goldberg's and Harlem Heat's.

And finally, #1 on my list? No surprises here, ya'll: Mr. Perfect's rip-off of the Exodus theme.

Although my thinking was focused more on 80's and early 90's era themes,I didn't even think of the Big Show's music, and I'm pretty disappointed that I overlooked it considering that our super-sized beer tube was named the Big Show. WELL, IT'S THE BIG SHOW...

Raven's original WWE theme wasn't bad either. Anyone remember it? It had crow sound effects at the beginning....anyways, Mark Henry's Thee Six Mafia intro hits hard.

On the Triple H tip,
that's a double pussy punch.
In other words, fuck him.

As far as the Rock's theme's go, he had two of 'em.
I liked his second, most recent intro...with the helicopters and shit.
