I, for one, do not believe that porn is bad. I submit, however, that there is such a thing as bad porn. WHO'S WITH ME??!

Ahhhh, thanks for the introduction, Reverend. We're all friends here, so no angry rant required. However, porn represents everything that is good and right about the world. Or at least fun. Porn helped get me through hard times, long periods of un-wanted celibacy; and when I am able to enjoy the company of a female, porn just makes the happy times even happier. I like to have it on in the background when I'm making beats; I might not be watching because I'm focused on working, but I just like to know the ambience is there. To paraphrase Charlton Heston, they will have to remove porn "OUT OF MY COLD, DEAD HANDS!!!!!!"
Porn is not wrong at all. If one believes porn is wrong, then they must believe masturbation is wrong by association. Because unless one is masturbating to the thought of their spouse, then you are imagining some type of fantasy involving a woman (or man if that's what you prefer) that is un-attainable for whatever reason. And if you ARE masturbating to the thought of your spouse, then why not just go have sex with them? (They could probably use it, it's been a rough day).
Fantasy is not only normal, it's fucking healthy. If we as people didn't spend at least a little bit of time daydreaming in some shape or form, we would very quickly become some stale robots. And no matter how much one might love their spouse/girlfriend/boyfriend/signifigant other, it is unrealistic and naive to think that there aren't others who you would fuck in a heartbeat if the circumstances were different. Men and women are the same here, even though 98% of all porn viewers are men. Porn provides a peek into this world, and allows people to live vicariously and at least act this stuff out inside their heads, instead of in reality where things can get hairy.
It might just be me, but it really seems like women are becoming far more accepting of porn, even if they might not purchase or download it themselves. Back in the day, it seemed like if a guy got caught with porn, he'd basically get his ass whooped and a major guilt trip. I can recall being between the ages of 17-21 and acting like I didn't even like porn around girls, out of fear of offending them. Women nowadays seem to be far more open to the idea, and that is a good good thing.
On the real though, porn never gets any credit for providing a safety net, or more appropriatley, "preventative measures." We all understand how sexually frustrated people can go buck-fucking-apeshit and do things they know they shouldn't, whether trivial stuff like starting a fight in a bar, on up to really serious things like sexual assault. With access to porn, one can go ahead and take care of their bottled-up "feelings" and at least be a (temporarily) logical person.
I can say from personal experience that I've had "feelings" bottled-up and been tempted to, for example, call up girls from my past who I know are trouble, all because I want to release said "feelings." Doing things of this nature could in some cases really open up a can of worms; lust will blind even the most logical man into thinking something is a good idea. However with the amazing power of porn...you can truly think clearly after busting a nut. "Oh, I didn't really want to re-kindle things with C******y or S*****a, I was just horny. Wow, glad I didn't do that!"
With the statistics of VD's being what they are today, masturbation is damn near the only truly "safe" sex, unless you're in a genuinely monogamous relationship with another clean person. Porn is a great alternative to risky sexual behavior.
Anyway, the bottom line is: Fucking is fun. Matter of fact, it's almost the greatest thing one can do. There is a reason humans (myself included) spend their natural lives seeking out opportunities to fuck. And if you aren't able to fuck at the present time, watching two people fuck on your television or computer screen is a pretty decent alternative. Porn is made by and sold to (at least in stores, the 'net is harder to police) consenting adults who actively sought it out. No one is "forced" into starring in or viewing porn (despite what Linda Lovelace or Traci Lords might try to perpetrate), and women are not being degraded; they make 3-10 times the paycheck that the male performer does, and he's the one who has to do all the work and carry the match. Whether you're in it for the money, fame or cocaine, women have to actively pursue and audition for a career in the porn biz, and they are at the very least conciously trying to parlay their hotness and natural enjoyment of fucking into a get-rich-quick scheme, or at least a career that doesn't involve working 9-5.
And besides, if God didn't want us to have porn, he wouldn't have instructed Al Gore to invent the internet.
If porn is outlawed, only outlaws will have porn.
