You actually beat me to it. I was going to post this. The sad thing is he was starting to get a really good jump on his career with his role as The Joker.
It really is surreal.
I read an article on this before I left work, and I'm convinced that online news affiliates should really reconsider when/if they want to give the general public access to respond about an article on the newspaper's official site. Re: Ledger's death, I read the most wonderful diatribe on how his death goes to show you the dangers of Hollywood's attempts at trying to portray a gay lifestyle as "normal," referring to Ledger's role in "Brokeback Mountain."
Wasn't the Joker at times written to be a bit queery? Or was that just Frank Miller and Grant Morrison?
