At least Florida didn't start the season with a loss to a I-AA team. People will remember the App State game long after they have forgotten about the Outback Bowl. And That's True.

A New Year's Day football thought

I have to say that the interception at the end of the UT game was pretty good, but yeah, Wisconsin shat away that potentially game winning drive.
After back-to-back nat'l titles in basketball and one nat'l title football during the last two years, you could take a bowl loss a little more gracefully. (Also, you lost to a team that lost to a I-AA team.)
Don't forget the only Heisman Trophy sophomore winner in history. Don't leave that one out.
